
Katy Jungmann is an established composer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer with roots in London and Berlin. She releases both instrumental & vocal music, and composes for film, dance, theatre, and artist collaborations.
Her most recent composition was created for string quartet, working with the critically acclaimed Natalio Faingold and at London’s EBC Live Studio with support from Help Musicians.
Other work includes scores for Vic Ballet Academy in Verona, Danny Mulhern’s Weight of a Nation, live shows with visual artist Sally Titterington, and theatre company The New Factory of the Eccentric Actor.
Katy has been documenting different spaces of interest in London with dancers, created for her own collective Dance4Music, and will be working with the art collective XYZ in Brentford.
Her latest album releases are ‘Flying High’ exploring intuition and collective emotion based on a book by Mark Burgman, and ‘London Garden’ feeding off London and its renowned green spaces.
